Pupils become super scientists for British Science Week

Children at Park Road Community Primary School have been busy becoming budding scientists as they carried out exciting experiments and made fascinating discoveries during British Science Week.
The national celebration, which ran from 6th to 15th March, focuses on science, technology, engineering and maths. Staff and pupils at Park Road embraced the opportunity, taking part in a wide range of hands‑on activities throughout the week.
Classrooms were buzzing with excitement as children explored, investigated and stepped into the shoes of real scientists.
From practical experiments to brilliant problem‑solving challenges, pupils showed incredible curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm to truly embody the spirit of this year’s British Science Week.
All our young learners embraced the challenge and made the week such a memorable success!
