Den building, pond dipping and walks through the forest were just some of the activities Park Road Community Primary School children got up to on their first residential trip.

Year 2 Pupils headed to Fox Howl in Delemere for two whole nights of adventure, which not only gave everyone a great experience, but also supported their science learning and helped to develop life skills.

During the trip children were given the chance to get involved in a number of different activities including den building, pond dipping, forest walks and even a stream walk.

Pupils also took time to do their very own forest art and even found a badger set in the forest.

What a great trip!
